Privacy & request handling
The designated privacy contact for ElPasoVeterinary.com is the Privacy Lead. This site is designed to collect only the information reasonably needed to understand, route, respond to, and document a request.
Information we collect
Depending on the form, we may collect your name, contact details, location or service area, business or vehicle/project information, and the request details you voluntarily provide. Basic hosting logs and referral/UTM information may also be collected for security, attribution, and service-performance purposes.
Why we use it
We use submitted information to classify the request, identify suitable provider categories, communicate about the request, prevent abuse and duplicate submissions, measure service performance, and maintain required consent or business records.
Provider sharing
Where you expressly consent, request information may be shared with relevant independent providers solely so they can evaluate and respond to that specific request. This package does not authorize providers to resell the information or use it for unrelated marketing.
No data sale or behavioural advertising
This production package does not include behavioural advertising, a data-broker model, or a feature that sells personal information for unrelated use. Commercial arrangements with providers concern request routing or service-response opportunities, not permission to reuse a person's data for unrelated purposes.
Service providers and cross-border processing
Hosting, form processing, security, email, and lead-management service providers may process information on our behalf. Those providers may process or store information outside your province, state, or country, including in the United States or other jurisdictions whose laws may differ from your local laws.
Not medical records: This site is a non-emergency provider-matching service. Do not submit diagnostic records, detailed medical histories, payment-card data, or other information not needed for a clinic match.
Retention
Unmatched requests are targeted for deletion or de-identification within 90 days. Matched request records are generally kept for no more than 180 days unless needed to resolve a complaint or meet a legal obligation. This site is not intended to create or retain veterinary medical records.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to personal information associated with your request, ask that inaccurate information be corrected, request deletion where appropriate, or withdraw consent for future provider sharing. Withdrawal cannot undo a disclosure already made before we receive the withdrawal request. We may need reasonable information to verify that a request relates to you.
Security and data minimization
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information under our control. Please do not submit passwords, government identifiers, payment-card details, confidential engineering/IP files, or other sensitive information that is not necessary for the request.
Children and young users
These forms are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where a user is under the age of majority, a parent or guardian should assist when appropriate for the requested service.
